Quality of horticultural products: Influence of pre- and postharvest factors, 17th September 2010, ETH Zürich (CH), workshop organised by the Swiss Society of Agronomy (SSA)

 The workshop's objective is to promote exchanges and discussions about results regarding the influence or pre- and post-harvest factors on the quality of horticultural products, as fruits, vegetables, grapes and medicinal plants. The aspects of sensory quality, human health and safety will be particularly considered.This workshop will also allow setting up an exchange platform for researcher and professionals of the entire food chain from production, storage and transformation of horticultural crops.

Research and Innovation in the Food Sector, 22 avril 2010, Berne (CH)

Le 22 avril 2010, nous vous présenterons dans un aperçu global toutes les institutions et tous les programmes importants pour la promotion de l’innovation au sein de la chaîne agro-alimentaire. Vous aurez ensuite l’occasion, lors de meetings „One to One“, de développer des possibilités afin de concrétiser vos idée. La manifestation aura lieu à l'Institut für Bildungsmedien, Berne (Helvetiaplatz 2).

BIO N'DAYS - Partnering Event on Preservation, Extraction & Separation of Natural Products, 22 April 2010, Valence (FR)

On 22 April 2010 an international Partnering Event in the field of preservation and extraction of organic and natural products is organised in Valence, France. The event with pre-arranged bilateral meeting is targeted to companies, engineers and researchers in order to find technology partnerships (license, manufacturing agreements etc.), partners to build European R&D projects and to get practical knowledge on new and high added value technologies. In parallel an international symposium dedicated to Bio Preservation, extraction separation for Natural Products with examples of applications for natural products will take place.
